YashiTech Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Chhittoo collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile app and associated services.

d) Camera Access

Accessed when scanning QR codes for our Nearby Cafe Scan Service.

e) Notifications

Used to send booking confirmations, delivery updates, ride status updates, reminders, and other relevant notifications.

Permission used: POST_NOTIFICATIONS

f) Other Permissions

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: To run necessary background services for data synchronization and notifications.

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC: Used only while you have an active ride booked through Chhittoo's ride-sharing service. It keeps a persistent notification on your device showing your driver's live location, estimated time of arrival, and trip progress, by periodically checking your ride's status from our servers — it does not access this device's own location for this purpose. This runs only for the duration of an active ride and stops automatically once the ride is completed or cancelled.

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To enable app features that start or update on device boot.

• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: For scheduling precise alarms related to app functions.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

• To process bookings and deliver services (e.g., grocery delivery, vehicle registration, salon-at-home, ride-sharing).

• To match you with a nearby driver and keep you informed of your ride's live status when you book a ride.

• To verify age or identity when legally required.

• To contact you regarding your orders, support inquiries, or service issues.

• To improve our app through usage analytics.

• To send relevant notifications (e.g., booking status, delivery updates, ride updates).

We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share your data only in the following situations:

• When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or safety.

• When explicitly requested by you (e.g., sharing vehicle info with authorized agencies).

• Between a customer and their matched driver during an active ride, limited to what's necessary to complete the trip (e.g., pickup/drop-off location, live trip status, driver's vehicle and contact details).

4. Third-Party Services

Chhittoo may contain links to or use third-party platforms including:

• e-Sewa and Khalti (for QR-based payments)

• Google Maps (for location services)

We do not control the data practices of these third parties. Please review their privacy policies directly.

Note: Chhittoo does not store your payment details. All transactions are processed securely through Cash on Delivery or via e-Sewa or Khalti platforms.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data using:

• Secure communications (HTTPS)

• Limited data access controls

• Encrypted data storage (where applicable)

However, no system is completely secure. Use of the app implies acceptance of this risk.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by applicable law. User data is automatically deleted within 90 days after upon account deletion request.

While the app does not currently offer a way to request deletion of some or all personal data without deleting the entire account, you may request full account deletion at any time by contacting us at servicechhittoo@gmail.com. Upon such request, we will delete all associated data in accordance with our retention policy.

The Chhittoo app may request the following permissions:

• Location: For local service suggestions, delivery accuracy, and ride-sharing pickup/drop-off.

• Camera: For QR scanning (used only in Nearby Cafe Scan Service).

• Notifications: To send booking confirmations, delivery updates, ride status updates, reminders, and alerts.

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC: While you have an active ride booked, these keep a persistent notification updated with your driver's live location, ETA, and trip progress, by periodically checking ride status from our servers (not by accessing this device's own location). Active only for the duration of a ride, and stops automatically when the ride ends or is cancelled.

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To initialize certain app functions after device restart.

• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: To schedule precise alarms related to app features.

You may manage or revoke permissions anytime from your device settings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected at:

If material changes are made, we will notify users within the app. Continued use of the app after changes implies consent to the updated policy.
