Welcome to Chhittoo, a multi-service platform operating in Dharan, Nepal. By downloading, accessing, or using the Chhittoo mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Chhittoo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines, restrictions, or rules that may apply to specific features or services.

2. Services

The app provides services exclusively within Dharan, Nepal, connecting users with service providers for alcohol, groceries, cakes, barbers, ride-sharing, courier delivery, plumbing, repair, and vehicle-related services.
Alcohol and cake deliveries are available 24/7 (hours may differ).
Bluebook Renew Service: Chhittoo acts as a facilitator using your government-issued photo ID and vehicle registration papers. We are not responsible for delays caused by government offices.
Ride-Sharing Service: Drivers are independent contractors, and Chhittoo only facilitates the platform for ride bookings.
QR Table Ordering: The barcode scanner within the app opens venue menus in an in-app browser, with orders managed directly by the venues.
Nearby Cafe Scan: The app provides QR code scanning for tableside menus at hotels, cafes, and restaurants, opening menus within an in-app browser with orders handled by the venues.
Fuel Delivery Service: Emergency fuel deliveries within the service area, subject to availability and safety regulations.
Plumbing Service: On-call home plumbing services including emergency same-hour or same-day bookings, with applicable surcharges.
Repair Service: On-call basic repair services such as electrical work, appliance installation, fitting, and wiring, with service charges varying by urgency and complexity.

3. Registration & Account Security

You must be 21 years or older to use alcohol-related services.
It is your responsibility to secure your account and monitor any activities under it.

4. Payments

Payments are accepted only in cash or via QR scan (e-Sewa or Khalti) at delivery or upon service completion.
Ensure you have sufficient funds or access to the required payment methods at the time of delivery.

5. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information during registration and service use.
Chhittoo may refuse services if inaccurate or incomplete information is provided.
For alcohol deliveries, ensure someone aged 21 or older is available to receive the order.

6. Liability

Chhittoo is not responsible for damages, delays, or losses during delivery or service provision.
We are not liable for misconduct or disputes during cash-on-delivery transactions but may report incidents to relevant authorities.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available in the app.
Chhittoo offers a range of digital services to enhance convenience for our users. Below, we outline the key services available through the app along with their respective terms and conditions.

Food & Groceries Service

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Chhittoo's Food & Groceries Service, which includes alcohol, groceries, tobacco products, and cakes. By placing an order, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Age Verification

Customers must be 21 years or older to purchase alcohol or tobacco products.
A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented upon delivery for alcohol and tobacco purchases.
If age verification cannot be completed, the order will be canceled, and a restocking fee may apply.

2. Order Placement & Confirmation

Orders can be placed via the Chhittoo app 24/7 (service hours may vary in occasions).
Once an order is confirmed, it can only be cancelled before the order is dispatched for delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details (e.g., address, phone number).

3. Delivery Conditions

Alcohol and Tobacco: Only delivered to individuals 21 or older. If no eligible recipient is available, the order will be canceled.
Perishable Goods: Cakes and groceries must be inspected by the recipient at the time of delivery. Complaints about damage or defects must be reported immediately to the delivery personnel.
If delivery fails due to customer unavailability or incorrect details, Chhittoo reserves the right to cancel the order, and flag the user for providing misleading information.
Chhittoo guarantees delivery within the service area (Dharan, Nepal) but is not liable for delays due to weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Payment Methods

Payments are accepted only in cash or via QR scan (e-Sewa or Khalti) at the time of delivery.
Customers must ensure they have the necessary funds or access to the payment method when the order arrives.
Chhittoo reserves the right to refuse delivery if payment cannot be completed.

5. Prohibited Activities

Customers may not use Chhittoo's delivery services for illegal activities, including purchasing alcohol or tobacco for underage individuals.
Providing false information (e.g., fake IDs) will result in order cancellation and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Orders canceled before dispatch may be eligible for a refund, minus a processing fee.
For failed deliveries due to customer negligence, refunds are not provided, and additional delivery fees may apply for reattempted deliveries.
Refunds for defective or incorrect items will be processed only if reported at the time of delivery.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure a person 21 years or older is available to receive alcohol and tobacco orders.
Verify items upon delivery and report discrepancies immediately.
Provide a secure and accessible location for delivery personnel to complete the transaction.

8. Liability

Chhittoo is not responsible for:
Any damages, delays, or losses caused by third parties or external factors.
Misuse of products (e.g., alcohol abuse, underage consumption).
Disputes arising from cash-on-delivery transactions.
In cases of fraudulent activity, Chhittoo may take legal action and share information with law enforcement authorities.

9. Quality Assurance & Restocking

Perishable items (e.g., cakes, groceries) are prepared and packaged to ensure freshness and quality.
Alcohol and tobacco products are procured from licensed vendors and comply with local regulations.
Restocking fees may apply for returned alcohol or tobacco products when:
Age verification fails.
The recipient is unavailable during delivery.

Chhittoo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The latest version will be made available on the app, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Additional Terms for Alcohol & Tobacco

Alcohol and tobacco cannot be resold or redistributed.
Delivery personnel have the right to refuse service if they suspect misuse or intoxication of the recipient.

Book Hair Salon Service

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Chhittoo’s Book Hair Salon Service, enabling customers to book professional barbers/beauticians/stylists for home visits. By booking this service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking Requirements

Customers must provide accurate details, including the address, preferred time, and any special instructions, during the booking process.
Bookings must be made at least 2 hours in advance to ensure service availability.
Any changes to the booking (e.g., time, address) must be communicated at least 1 hour before the appointment.

2. Service Conditions

Barbers/beauticians/stylists are only available within the Dharan service area.
Customers must ensure a safe, clean, and suitable environment for the barber/beautician/stylist to perform services.
Barbers/beauticians/stylists reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsanitary or unsafe.

3. Payment Methods

Payments are accepted only in cash or via QR scan (e-Sewa or Khalti) after service completion.
Customers must ensure they have the necessary funds or access to the payment method at the time of the service.
Failure to complete payment may result in service suspension or legal action.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 1 hour before the appointment are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations within 1 hour of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service charge.
Refunds are not provided for:
Missed appointments due to customer unavailability.
Dissatisfaction with the service unless reported immediately to customer support.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure someone is present at the location during the booked time.
Provide a working area with adequate lighting, seating, and ventilation for the barber.
Refrain from inappropriate behavior or harassment towards the barber.

6. Barber Responsibilities

Barbers/beauticians/stylists will arrive on time or notify the customer in case of delays.
All tools and equipment will be sanitized and appropriate for professional use.
Barbers/beauticians/stylists will provide services as per the customer’s booking details and preferences.

7. Liability

Chhittoo is not responsible for:
Injuries or allergic reactions caused by the use of barbering tools or products unless directly due to negligence.
Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Loss or theft of personal items during the service.
Customers are responsible for supervising children or pets during the appointment to avoid disruptions or accidents.

8. Prohibited Activities

Customers may not request services outside the scope of professional barbering.
Any behavior deemed inappropriate or unsafe by the barber may result in immediate termination of the service without refund.

9. Rescheduling

Customers can reschedule appointments up to 1 hour before the original booking time.
Rescheduled appointments are subject to barbers/beauticians/stylists availability.

10. Complaints & Feedback

Any complaints regarding the service must be reported immediately via the Chhittoo app or at servicechhittoo@gmail.com.
Feedback is welcome and helps us improve the quality of our services.

Bluebook Renew Service

1. Service Overview

By using the Bluebook Renew Service through Chhittoo, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Our service streamlines the process of renewing your vehicle's bluebook in Nepal, ensuring you remain legally compliant and are able to drive on the roads without hassle.

2. Eligibility

You must be a legal resident of Nepal and the registered owner of the vehicle for which the bluebook renewal is being requested.
You are responsible for providing accurate details about your vehicle and ensuring that all required documents are available for the renewal process. These include the vehicle’s registration certificate, your citizenship certificate, and valid insurance documents.

3. Service Process

The Bluebook Renew Service involves submitting your vehicle’s documents to the appropriate authorities for bluebook renewal.
Chhittoo will handle all aspects of the bluebook renewal process, including document collection, verification, and submission to the relevant government departments on your behalf.

4. Pick-Up and Drop-Off Service

We offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off service for your documents. This eliminates the need for you to visit government offices in person.
You agree to ensure that your documents are properly packaged and ready for pick-up at the agreed time.

5. Payment for Services

Payment for the Bluebook Renew Service is accepted through cash on delivery or QR code payment via e-Sewa or Khalti.
You agree to ensure that the required payment is made upon the completion of the renewal process.

6. Document Verification and Accuracy

It is your responsibility to ensure that all provided documentation is accurate and complete. Chhittoo is not responsible for any delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
We will assist in ensuring your documents meet the required standards but cannot be held accountable for any government rejections or delays due to documentation errors.

7. Processing Time

While we aim to complete the bluebook renewal process as efficiently as possible, please be aware that processing times may vary based on factors beyond our control, such as government processing times.
Chhittoo is not responsible for any delays caused by government agencies or external factors.

8. Delivery and Completion

Once the bluebook renewal is complete, you will be notified, and your renewed bluebook will be delivered to the address provided at the time of registration.
The service includes the return of all original documents along with the updated bluebook. Chhittoo is not liable for any loss or damage to documents during delivery.

9. Liability

Chhittoo is not responsible for any legal issues or consequences arising from issues related to the bluebook renewal process, including government delays or errors in documentation.
While we make best efforts to ensure timely service, we cannot guarantee that all government offices will process renewals on time or without issues.

10. Modifications to Terms

Book a Ride Service

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Chhittoo’s Book a Ride Service, which provides on-demand and scheduled transportation services within Dharan and surrounding areas. By booking a ride through the app, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Service Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to book a ride or be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Chhittoo reserves the right to refuse service if safety regulations or local transport laws are violated.

2. Booking & Confirmation

Rides can be booked via the Chhittoo app instantly.
Once a ride is confirmed, cancellation policies will apply (see Section 6).
Users must enter correct pickup and drop-off locations, contact number, and any additional instructions clearly.

3. Driver & Vehicle Standards

All drivers are verified, trained, and licensed under Nepali transport regulations.
Vehicles are regularly inspected for safety, cleanliness, and roadworthiness.
Chhittoo does not permit unregistered or third-party vehicles to operate under its platform.

4. Ride Conditions

Users are required to wear seatbelts at all times during the ride.
Smoking, alcohol consumption, and carrying prohibited items during the ride are strictly prohibited.
Users must not engage in disruptive, abusive, or illegal behavior while in the vehicle.
Drivers have the right to cancel a ride if the user’s conduct poses a safety risk.

5. Fare & Payment

Ride fares are calculated based on distance, time, and traffic conditions. An estimated fare is displayed before booking.
Final fare may vary due to unexpected route changes or delays caused by the user.
Payments are currently accepted via cash or QR code (eSewa/Khalti).
Users must ensure payment is completed at the end of the ride.

6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Rides cancelled before the driver accepts the booking will not incur a fee.
Rides cancelled after the driver is en route may result in account flagging for suspension.
If the driver arrives and the user is unreachable or not present after 5 minutes, the ride will be marked as a no-show, possibly leading to account suspension.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of the user’s account.

7. Lost & Found

Users are responsible for their personal belongings during the ride.
If an item is left behind, users should report it immediately through the app or customer service.
Chhittoo is not liable for lost or stolen items, but will assist in recovery efforts when possible.

8. Customer Conduct

Users must treat drivers with respect and refrain from harassment, abuse, or threats.
Any report of user misconduct may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
Chhittoo maintains a zero-tolerance policy against physical or verbal abuse toward drivers or staff.

9. Liability

Chhittoo is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Chhittoo does not guarantee specific arrival or drop-off times, but will make best efforts for timely service.
In the event of an accident, driver or vehicle insurance will apply. Chhittoo will cooperate with relevant authorities and insurers.

Orders are processed by the respective hotel, cafe, or restaurant. Chhittoo only facilitates the technical platform and does not control order preparation, pricing, or fulfillment.

2. Ordering Process

Users must scan a QR code provided on the table or counter of a participating venue.
The scan opens the venue’s menu inside an in-app browser, where users can browse items and place an order.
Orders are submitted directly to the venue’s kitchen or staff via the Chhittoo system.

3. Payments

Payment methods (e.g., cash, QR code, e-wallet, or card) are determined by the venue.
Chhittoo is not responsible for the venue’s accepted payment modes or transaction issues.

4. Order Fulfilment & Disputes

The venue is solely responsible for:
Preparing and serving orders accurately.
Handling delays, cancellations, or stock availability.
Addressing customer complaints or special requests.
Any dispute or dissatisfaction related to food, service, or payment must be addressed directly with the venue staff or manager.

5. User Conduct

Users are expected to use the scan service responsibly and avoid submitting false, duplicate, or prank orders.
Abuse of the service may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your Chhittoo account.

6. Liability

Chhittoo is not liable for:
Food quality, hygiene, pricing, or delays.
Payment errors between users and venues.
Any harm resulting from the consumption of food or beverages ordered via the platform.

7. Data Usage

No personal information is shared with the venue unless explicitly entered by the user (e.g., name for table reservation or notes).
Scan activity may be logged to improve app performance and partner analytics.

8. Updates to Terms

Fuel Delivery Service

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Chhittoo’s Fuel Delivery Service, which provides on-demand emergency refueling within Dharan and surrounding areas. By requesting fuel through the app, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Overview

Chhittoo’s Fuel Delivery Service is designed for emergency roadside assistance when users unexpectedly run out of fuel.

2. Service Hours & Availability

Fuel delivery is available 24/7, but response times may vary based on weather, traffic, and fuel availability.
Chhittoo reserves the right to cancel or delay requests due to safety concerns or local restrictions (e.g., strikes, roadblocks).

3. Fuel Type & Quantity

Users must clearly specify the required fuel type (e.g., petrol or diesel) during the request.
Standard delivery includes up to 10 liters of fuel per request. Larger quantities may not be available in certain areas.
The quantity delivered is intended to help the user reach the nearest petrol station, not to fully refuel the vehicle.

4. User Responsibilities

Users must provide:
Accurate vehicle location (via GPS or manual input),
Vehicle type,
Required volume of fuel,
Correct fuel type.
Users must remain present at the delivery location or designate someone to receive the fuel.

5. Payment Terms

Payments are accepted via cash or QR code (eSewa/Khalti) upon delivery.
Fuel prices are based on local pump rates plus a service and delivery fee, which is displayed during booking.
If payment cannot be completed at the time of delivery, the service may be denied.

6. Cancellations & No-Show

Cancellation is allowed without penalty only if made before the delivery team dispatches.
If the user cancels after dispatch or is unreachable upon arrival, a cancellation fee may apply, and the account may be flagged.
No-shows may lead to account suspension upon repeated incidents.

7. Safety & Legal Compliance

8. Liability

Damage arising from incorrect fuel type requested by the user.

2. Service Availability & Types

Standard appointment bookings are available 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Emergency services include:

Emergency bookings incur an additional service charge, visible before confirmation.

3. Booking & Confirmation

Service requests must include accurate details such as address, contact number, problem description, and preferred time slot.
Once a plumber is assigned, you will receive a confirmation with their contact and estimated arrival time.
Booking can be cancelled before the plumber is en route. After dispatch, cancellation fees may apply (see Section 6).

Repeated no-shows or misuse may result in account suspension.

Users should inspect completed work before payment and raise any issues immediately.
Any warranty on labor or materials is provided directly by the assigned plumber, if applicable.

8. Conduct & Safety

Users and plumbers are expected to maintain professional, respectful behavior at all times.
Abuse, harassment, or unsafe working conditions may lead to service cancellation and account suspension.

Emergency/same-day repairs may be available based on technician availability and may include a surcharge.

3. Booking & Confirmation

Users must provide complete and accurate details, including:

Appliance/equipment details,
Address, contact number, and preferred time.
Once a technician is assigned, users will receive a confirmation with estimated arrival time.
Cancellations are free before technician dispatch. After dispatch, cancellation fees may apply (see Section 6).
